Been doing a little work on the global hawk UAV VTOL Project, so I have managed to get the model from Blender as a .obj and import it into Fusion360, where after a lot of trial and error was able to get the model in a usable state.
I will do a video in the future to cover this important procedure as it was not easy and not that well documented.
But it’s in and I have started to dissect the model to a point where in the future it will be able to be 3d printed.
So I have started to look at electronics and in the next few weeks, I will start purchasing and testing the products, to see if the quality meets the standards required to meet the projects requirements.
Also, calculations will need to be performed these consist of wing load, and overall predicted weight aspect ratio, but as for now, I am just trying to get a base model built to get a general idea of the scale and weight of the UAV VTOL.
The global Hawk UAV VTOL will be a demanding project utilising a lot of engineering and many aspects of design, I aim to cover as much as I can and if you feel I have missed something that you may find of interest please contact me.
